Our club supports the efforts of club members who are involved in finding loving homes for displaced German Shepherds. If you, or someone you know needs help in finding a good home for a German Shepherd or you are in a position to adopt a rescued German Shepherd, please contact the people listed below. Individuals who would like to adopt rescued dogs must be able to prove that they can offer a good home to a dog before they are accepted. While rescued dogs are given without charge, we ask for a donation to help defray the cost of medical bills and maintenance. At this time, we can only take German Shepherds in Jacksonville and the North Florida area. We are not set up to handle more than that. If you are outside of North Florida, please contact a rescue group in your area or Diane Roberts with the Parent Club Rescue at dianeroberts.gsd@verizon.net . We are proud to offer free basic obedience classes to all German Shepherds rescued from Jacksonville and North Florida area shelters. If you would like to make a donation in funds, food or other items needed to care for our rescues, please get in touch with the contact persons for our club .......
